His open and mentoring mentality coincides with his favorite part of his job, coaching. He is the one that people go to when they need advice or direction. His words are often a comfort to people and have helped to create a solid, healthy work environment for everyone that works at Columbia Stone.
According to Bernie, what he finds so profound about Columbia Stone is, “the integrity that the company holds and the drive to get the job done.” There’s no doubt that a substantial amount of that has come from his tireless efforts to make Columbia Stone a better company.

His experience and diligence have been invaluable. “The integrity and ethics of those working for Columbia Stone have made it a most enjoyable career,” he says. “It is a privilege to associate with high caliber, quality people. I never regret going to work on a Monday morning.” Getting to know others throughout the world who work in the stone industry keeps the job interesting.
A Beaver from the previous century, Jeff majored in Rugby, with a minor in bar hopping. He has many hobbies to fill his time, now that his body can no longer take the punishment of sports. “Live every day like it’s the last,” has become his motto.

Through the years his roles have changed from Project Engineer to Estimator to his current position as Project Manager. As a project manager he oversees all aspects of the projects from award of the contract to completion. His management philosophy is to always be open and honest, and to treat people with respect. According to him, “Ultimately everyone has the same goal; it’s how we conduct our business to achieve that goal that matters.” In 2014 Brad moved to the Bay Area to manage a large corporate headquarters project and is currently working out of our San Carlos, CA office.
One of Brad’s favorite aspects of working at Columbia Stone, Inc. is, “The large diverse group of people that we work with on a daily basis. It is not uncommon for our projects to involve stone vendors in Italy, a GC in San Francisco, an architect in New York, and an owner in Los Angeles. Then you add in the great group of people at Columbia Stone and it’s hard to beat.”
When Brad is not behind a computer screen or out on a jobsite he loves to spend time with his wife and two young boys. He also enjoys anything outdoors whether it’s golfing, hiking, hunting, or wakeboarding.
